Client Objectives
The client required a new, state-of-the-art facility to meet increased demand for diagnostic testing and serve its extensive client base in hospitals worldwide. The two-story facility is a 250,000-square-foot clinical laboratory and administrative office building.
Solutions
Forest NJ delivered all electric power distribution and site lighting for the project, including all underground duct banks, feeders, and distribution consisting of:
- 32 transformers
- A 1000kW generator
- Two uninterruptible power supply systems, one 750 KVA and one 225 KVA
- Two power distribution unit systems, one 300 KVA and one 150 KVA
- A 15KV outdoor switchgear
- Two 4000amp 480V distribution lineups
- Multiple 480V distribution panels
- Five automatic transfer switch systems
- Over 100 480V panels in various sizes
- Over 70,000 feet of conduit
- Over 320,000 feet of wire
